A Day in the week...

Here I am back in London after 3 weeks back in Scotland safely returned from Los Angeles where I spent 3 weeks and toward the last week several days virtually on the streets.
London however is a different story as I have my own accommodation in the guise of the wondrous Sunseeker my four berth motorhome. Having parked it in the area near to the studios for the last month and a half without being run the battery was in need of a charge, also the brakes were a bit off as the servo pipe was a little pierced. But a quick call to the roadside rescue and in less than 5 hours I was back on the road and on the hunt for my next project.
Sunday was spent with a visit to Battersea car boot sale where as usual I found some very interesting and useful items. A keyboard for my apple ibook almost complete for £3 which I required as almost all of the keys are missing from the ibook I purchased for £25 from Battersea about a month before going to America to shoot a film with the Sunseeker crew (thegatethatletsyouin.blogspot.com) check it out.
I also purchased a bandi transformer toy car for 50p which is cool and shall add to my little collection, hope it’s a robot.
Today has been spent calling colleagues and others trying to find out what if any films are shooting in the main studios in the London area. Apart from pre-production on Le Miserable’s and the possible re-shoots of Jack the Giant Killer at Longcross there is only Bond 23 shooting at the moment.
Rush,Thor,2 Fast &Furious 6, are a few films that are waiting to start as is talk of a Tom Cruise film for Leevsden studios. We shall have to wait and see..
